Comics Continuum releases Marvel's solicitations for February.
4 has nice art, but Fantastic Four isn't really the team that needs a Marvel Knight label the most. They're the bright side of Marvel. If this, for whatever reason, should get translated I'll buy it. (For those of you that doesn't know, I live in Denmark, where some titles gets translated and put out much cheaper than the American comics). Or maybe if it gets good reviews.
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #3 I'm suddenly getting doubt about this title. The solicitation doesn't sound all that interesting really...I guess I'll just buy the trade.
SECRET WAR: BOOK ONE (of FIVE) waiting for the trade. (and hating that I'm doing this, I prefer monthly books, but with Marvel's trade policy it's just that Much easier).
DAREDEVIL #57 I'm still trying to figure out which title I'll drop to add Daredevil to my pullist, starting with the January issue.
1602 #7 (of 8 LS) It'll be interesting to see the end of this mini. Got nice art and the story is good, although slow.
INCREDIBLE HULK #67 We're FINALLY starting to see some answers to some of the questions. With a little luck this overall story arc will be over by 2005. I'm hoping.
X-MEN UNLIMITED #1 Picking this up solely based on the fact that fellow DWer Tony Lee is writing it.
THE PUNISHER #3 I HOPE Ennis will do something interesting when this series goes to MAX. And that is one of the coolest covers this month!
...and I used to be such a Marvel kid...
notice that Mark Bagley is penciling Ultimate Spider-man AND The Pulse. With most people having problems drawing only one book a month(and some (read: most) having problems with doing just that) it's pretty cool.

Newsarama reports that Keith Giffen is to follow Starlin on Thanos with issue 7.
Back when it was first announced that Starlin was leaving the title, he said he had scripted and drawn up to issue 6, but he had also scripted issue 7, so I guess we won't be seeing that...

Newsarama interviews Brian Michael Bendis about his Secret Wars mini series.
What he basically says is that he liked the name from the first two, but NOTHING else.
Actually he says that he hadn't even thought about it as a Secret Wars story, not until after Joe Quesada suggested it!
Gabriele DellÂOtto will be painting this five issue mini series, which will ship quarterly.
Now about the plot:
"The story centers of nick Fury who, after years of research, has found a serious and disturbing connection between many of the deadliest villains in the Marvel Universe. Recognizing that action must be taken, Fury assembles a team of heroes for a covert operation that could never be sanctioned by the U.S. government. These things never end well, and Secret War leads to a blowout between nearly every hero and mutant of New York, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Daredevil, Captain America, Black Widow, Luke Cage and others. "
Combining the plot, Bendis writing and Dell'Otto art=Something I'll read in trade.
As I said, my main problem with this is the name, I just don't like the fact they're calling it Secret Wars just to drag in some old readers and tease the fans.

Comics Continuum released the solicitations for DC Comics' comics that will come out in February.
I'll continue to buy Batman, the Azzerello/Risso team delivered in the first issue of their run, so I'm sticking around for the full arc.
BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHTS #50 could be interesting, seeing as how Hush reappears, maybe to answer some of all questions left by the Hush storyline.
I'll be sure to pick up the ARKHAM ASYLUM: LIVING HELL TP . Kevin has praised this and I was interested in it even before hearing his praise. Now I just need to find the cash...
BATMAN: ROOMFUL OF STRANGERS could be interesting, based on the fact that it's Scott Morse. Though once again the money problem comes up...
SUPERMAN/BATMAN #7 should be interesting to see if Loeb can offer such strong characterization on Superboy and Robin as he has on Superman and Batman.
THE FLASH #207 I love Howard Porter's art, so I'm looking forward to this!
GREEN ARROW #35 "Ollie and Connor must team with Batman to take on the twisted genius of the Riddler.". And to think it was just 11 months ago that Ollie and Black Canary took down the Riddler all alone and without bow and quiver....
THE LOSERS #9 The start of a new arc, hope it's as good as the first two.
THE SANDMAN PRESENTS: THESSALY Â WITCH FOR HIRE #1 I really enjoyed the last Thessaly mini, which was also written by Willingham, so I'm probably going to buy this as well.
Y: THE LAST MAN #19 Don't really like the cover, but this series continues to be good.
Anyone else notice that DC has a lot of trades coming out with pretty new material? (such as the Arkham Asylum and the Losers: Ante Up)
Are we seeing a change in the DC trade policy?
I wouldn't mind a change, as long as they don't go the Marvel way and just collect ANY arc in ANY book, not giving much thought as to whether it's actually a good story.

The Pulse reports:
Jim Starlin has informed this website, that he will no longer be working on Thanos. "Irreconcilable creative differences" were cited as the reason. THE PULSE has contacted both Starlin and Marvel for comment, but, at press time, received none. We will update this with new information when we receive it. Issue # 3 of Thanos is due in stores December 3rd.
Let me get this straight.
Jim Starlin got a new series approved by Marvel Comics, then writes 7 issues, pencils 6 and leaves?
Am I the only one seeing something wrong with this?
he should at LEAST finish his first year, because we all know this'll end with it's 12th issue, because by then Marvel'll have two trades out of this and knowing Marvel's trade policies as long as they get trades, they're happy.
Curious to see who they'll put on this as new team though, I COULD be proven wrong if they got the right team.

Oh and by the way, hey to everyone.
This is where you'll be able to see what I think of news, comics, music, movies, TV and the likes.
I'll be back later with more weird stuff.
(browsing diepunyhumans so I should find lots of weird stuff.)
Take care for now.

NEWS-BBC
I don't what anyone else thinks of this, but I personally feel it's not the right way to go.
Sure there's too much "filler" tracks on most cds these days (just look at how many "skits" there're on most hip-hop/rap and some rock CDs), but just having less tracks per CD is not the answer. Especially not against piracy. If people pay money for a CD they want as many tracks as they can get, not just good tracks, just tracks.
If there's less tracks on a CD it should at least cost less. Which sounds perfectly fair to me. Less music=less money
